Game Rules

Short and simple rules for the tournament

Rapid Chess Format

  • Each player gets 30 minutes for a game
  • Each player gets 15 minutes and extra 5 seconds on every move (15/5)
  • Total game duration: 35 minutes

Swiss Method

Swiss Method: Non-elimination tournament format designed to pair players against opponents with similar performance scores as the event progresses. Players will play more than one game but not more than 5 in order to collect the points.

  • 1 point for a win
  • ½ point for a draw
  • 0 points for a loss

Finals

  • Player with higher points will play the finale
  • Top performers advance to final rounds
